The Most REVD. Amankechinelo Amos Madu

The Most Revd. Amankechinelo Amos Madu was born on the 21st of September 1953 at Achi, in Oji River Local Government Area of Enugu State. After his primary and post primary education, he began his ministerial training, first at TCNN, Bukuru Jos between 1976 and 1980. Following this, he was ordained a deacon in the year 1980 and a priest in the year 1981.

He then proceeded to attend the Virgin Seminary, United States of America from 1987 to 1988.  From there, he embarked on further theological studies at St. George’s College, Jerusalem in 1988. Most Revd. Amankechinelo Amos Madu was in 1999, by the special grace of God, consecrated bishop and ten years later in 2009, became the Arch Bishop of the Anglican Arch Diocese of Oji River.

Throughout the course of his study, he obtained several degrees including Dip. Theology (WAATI), H Dip. Theology (TCNN), M.TH VTS.USA, D.D VTS.USA. He has since authored different theology books such as “Celebration of Divine Healing”, “The preacher’s Mirror” and “Holy Priesthood”. He is currently serving as a member of the Baord of Directors at Baywood Foundation.
